Blair Kinghorn

The club announced the signing of Scotland age-grade internationalist, Blair Kinghorn, in May 2015, and he joined Edinburgh on his return from taking part in the World Rugby U20 Championship in Italy, that summer.

He made his professional debut, off the bench, in the 70th minute of Edinburgh round five Guinness PRO12 match against Zebre and scored his first try in the 45-10 defeat of Treviso in the 2016/17 season.

Kinghorn enjoyed a breakout 2017/18 season under Head Coach Richard Cockerill as the fullback finshed the PRO14 campaign with the most metres gained in the league.

The Edinburgh Acadamy product was rewarded for his fine form with a call up to the Scotlnd squad during the 2018 Six Nations, scoring a try on his first start against Ireland.

Kinghorn signed a contract extension keeping him in the capital until at least 2021.
