Sam Hidalgo-Clyne

Samuel Peter Hidalgo-Clyne graduated from the club's elite development roster early in 2014 after two years in the programme and in May 2015 he was awarded Guinness PRO12 Young Player of the Year.

The Scotland age-grade internationalist was included in Scotland's RBS 6 Nations squad for 2015 and made his debut against France at the Stade de France that season. He was also part of the Rugby World Cup 2015 team, and came on as a replacement against South Africa in Newcastle.

In early 2016, Hidalgo-Clyne confirmed his commitment to continue with the club on a two-year deal.
